- Keep the surface area small enough that everyone can reason about it.
- Prefer boring infrastructure until product risk is lower.
- Write down what the team is choosing not to do.
- Treat launch scope as a product decision, not only an engineering estimate.
Operating note
The best 0-to-1 work usually feels narrow while it is happening. That is often the point.
